ÁLVARO GARCÍA

Director. Filmmaker. Producer.

Álvaro is a Spanish, Irish, German filmmaker based in Stuttgart; born in Madrid, raised in Dublin, and completed his studies in Stuttgart. Through this abundance of cultural backgrounds and languages, Álvaro has gained a great understanding of communication, adaptation, and motivational skills.

He successfully completed his studies at the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart under the pathway Film & Video with his short documentary „WEINBIER“. During his studies, he completed his internship by AMA Film where he is now working for them as a freelancer on various projects. Since his studies, Álvaro has built up a wide range of trusty clients in which he is working with them for many projects to come.

Álvaro has advanced his experience and skills in Directing, Producing & Editing. He is the middle man between an idea and the final product. Thereby guiding a project through all the stages of production. Álvaro has contact with many different ambitious and creative filmmakers in various departments just waiting to get a piece of the action.

His main focus lies under image films, short creative films, and documentaries and is currently in the research stages for his first long documentary film in Ireland.
